Title: SharePoint Administrator
Locals only Please!!
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Duration: 6 months
Responsible for leading team and providing 24 x 7 operational support for all SharePoint systems deployed within the client.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to Ope rationalize administration duties such as installation, configuration, license management, access management, upgrading / patching, troubleshooting and tuning for the specific application components.
Accountable for designing an environment that is well documented, sustainable, and conforms to all established technology development and implementation processes, enabling the business to service our customers as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Plan, architect and execute medium to large projects, including the coordination of cross functional resources.
Analyze monthly vendor metrics for adherence to SLAs
Perform task management and prioritization within the team
Use Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify and implement system improvements to SharePoint systems as needed.
Assist with update of SharePoint application software and related operating system software and hardware as needed.
Perform mid-level to advanced system configuration including user administration, group administration, and policies for the messaging and collaboration applications as needed.
Provide 24 x 7 support to critical issues impacting SharePoint systems in a timely and proactive manner in order to deliver defined service levels.
Provide support for end user issues when necessary.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues as necessary.
Development of Strategic Roadmaps and other Long Range Planning documentation.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or 5 years minimum equivalent experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online.
Advanced knowledge of operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 2008, and Windows 2012
Advanced knowledge of Windows PowerShell administration
Knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, and SMTP
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on providing quality customer service.
Ability to work with minimal direction and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in managing a support team.
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, in a multicultural environment.
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
Strong fault analysis/determination and problem solving skills and techniques.
Excellent teamwork, communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills required
Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse technical resources to deliver medium to large projects.
Ability to be a self-starter, complete tasks with minimal supervision and take initiative in critical situations.
BONUS SKILLS:
Metalogix\Axceler software experience would be a plus
Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync would be a plus
Exposure/experience with Lotus Notes would be a plus
Yammer administration experience would be a plus
