Position: Genesys Software Development Engine

Location: Mossville/Peoria

Duration: 6 months (Extendable)

· Genesys Software development engineer

· Responsibilities include development of new control and application features for EMCP 4.X genset ECM, as well as software maintenance

· and resolve software defects. Also includes integration of display software as well as data link (J1939/proprietary/Modbus) parameters.

· Regression testing of code is also critical responsibility.

· 4 yr Engineering degree (CEE, EE)

· years experience embedded software and control systems development including 6 months with diesel electric generator embedded

· control

· Experience with J1939/CAN/Modbus datalinks including Vector tools (CANape/CANalyzer/CANoe)

· Demonstrated experience and understanding of embedded software development process with C including development, testing, and

· production releasing

· Knowledge and experience implementing CAN/1939/Modbus data link parameters

· Strong knowledge and experience with embedded data link tools including CANape, and CANalyzer

· Experience with data files and scripts to modify, develop, and test software

· Use and administration of Versioning tools (ClearCase or GIT)

· Experience with ARM or PPC Motorola 32 bit processors

· Experience with Wind River or Diab C Compilers

· Knowledge of Simulink and Matlab

· Experience with Hardware Application Layer and FPGA software

· PLC and display experience
