Position: Sr. Level Java J2EE Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: Long-term
Max Rate: $70/hour on C2C
Education / Level of Experience: MS +11; BA/BS +13
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Demonstrated experience as a strong Senior Java JEE developer with large scale successful SOA implementations (user base of 30,000 – 50,000)
· Solid demonstrated object oriented software development experience with Java, JEE/J2EE technologies JSP, Java Servlet , Struts 2, JSTL, EJB, WMQ, JMS, JMX, JNDI, JDBC, JAAS, JEE Security, JAXB, JAXP, DOM, SAX, JPA, OpenJPA, SQL, DB2, commons-logging, log4j, JUnit
· Strong development experience with web application framework and JavaScript frameworks with Struts 2 and jQuery strongly preferred
· Strong development experience with Java front-end technologies including Struts 2, Java Servlet, JSP, JSTL, custom tags, and tag files
· Strong development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with HTML5 and CSS3 experience strongly preferred
· Solid development experience with XML technologies such as XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSL, XSLT, etc.
· Strong development experience with developing Java Web Services WSDL, SOAP, JAX-WS, REST, WS-Security
· Experience with application messaging and integration technologies
· Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
· Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
· Candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment.
DESIRED SKILLS
· JEE Solutions Architecture/ Systems Architecture Certification or equivalent
· Expertise with Red Hat JBoss Business Rules Management System (BRMS).
· Expertise with IBM WebSphere Application Server and application deployment using Jython scripts
