Project Summary
This technical position will be working for a strategic client in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry.
Scope of the project involves development services in the Private Wealth and Asset Management domain. This includes new reports, BI functionality, regulatory projects and other enhancements. Project is executed in a global delivery model including an offshore team in India.
Role is a hands-on technical role with an expectation to play a consulting / technical lead role including guiding client and offshore team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• 10 + years experience
• Senior Cognos BI Consultant
• Cognos 10 and other versions including Cognos 8
• Deep understanding of Cognos administration
• Strong Cognos skills from Architecture to Development
• Design and Solution capabilities in addition to coding, programming
• In addition to consulting on-going guidance, provide thought leadership to the development team offshore
• Good knowledge on DB profiling, Query and performance analysis and troubleshooting
• Good communication to interface with the client and support offshore communication ( technical , there will be an offshore project manager )
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED
(including team oriented, managerial skills, etc.)
The following skills are desirable for this opportunity:
• Private Wealth and Asset Management or Banking and Financial Services
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's Degree

Very Good communication
Consultative approach, ability to do a pilot, research (including work with IBM) recommend solutions, proactive approach. While some of the functionalities like DQM is new, expectation is to be able to provide Solutions
