Job Description:
Technical Roles & Responsibilities
&bull Expert in Big Data technology including MapReduce
&bull Should be competent enough to create/review the System Architecture and own the Architecture milestones.
&bull Should be able to design alternatives for technical complexities in the project
&bull In-depth knowledge of Java and Hadoop (MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Hive, Oozie).
&bull Should have worked on 2 or more DWH project as an Architect.
&bull Should have core development experience on Java for at least 6 &ndash 8 years of the complete experience.
&bull Should be strong enough in resolving complex technical issues faced by team during project implementation.
&bull Should have good experience in writing and reviewing functional and technical specifications.
Project &ndash Roles & Responsibilities
&bull Takes complete ownership for the scope of project.
&bull Responsible for conducting and gathering requirements from various teams/business units and contribute/agree with
customer architects during the design workshop
&bull Able to foresee how the design meets the scope and requirements of the broader program.
&bull Work with solution streams to prototype customer requirements and help in feasibility study.
&bull Coach and Mentor development teams by building an inclusive environment at work and a one team approach.
&bull Track technical build at requirement level and give confidence to business on the working model from time to time. &bull
Agile engineering recommended.
&bull Work with various stakeholders to meet the scope/requirements of the program
&bull Responsible for timely delivery of the deliverables including appropriate documentation as determined by the program
team.
Skill and Experience Details:
Minimum Experience Required: 8-10 YEARS Mandatory Skills: Hadoop Data Analysis, Information Management Architecture, Solution Architecture, Branding and Thought Leadership, IM Analysis and Solution design Desirable Skills: MapReduce, Big Data Language Skills: English Language
