Job Title: Senior Automation Tester_Ruby / Cucumber

Location:  Plano,TX

Duration:  12 Months +

Job Description:

·          Build and maintain automated test suites to exercise our applications.

·          Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.

·          Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of test strategies.

·          Responsible for the execution of integration, system, and regression testing of software.

·          Ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met.

·          Adhere to defect tracking process; document software defects, using a defect tracking tool, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects.

·          Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.

·          Conduct research on emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

·          BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

·          At least 3 years of experience with test automation tools, frameworks, design approaches, and effective implementation techniques using Cucumber/Ruby and Watir (or Selenium) and supporting techniques (e.g. Test Driven Development, Acceptance Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes).

·          At least 5 years demonstrated experience using an aggregation of development tools/languages.
