Role: Java Tech Lead

Location: Bethesda, MD

Duration: 1-2 Years

Job Description:

10+ years of experience in J2EE with thourough hands on experience in Neo4j, Spring MVC, Web Services (REST & SOAP) AOP, Apache Camel, Couchbase  as mandatory skills set.

Heavy UI development experience using Custom JavaScripts\JQuery\AJAX\DOJO or Ext-JS or Angular JS or Node.js

Expert hands-on expertise of front end and ORM Frameworks like Struts 2, Hibernate, JPA, etc.

Expert knowledge in Continuous Integration(CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) with Jenkins, SONARQUBE, Jacoco, JIRA

Expert hands-on expertise of App Servers like TomCat, IBM WebSphere, DataPower are mandatory.

Expert hands-on expertise in IBM-MQ mechanism and some LINUX OS skills.

Good Knowledge and Experience in all the SDLC Life cycle

Interacts with client business team to gather business requirements

Develops business cases for new system capabilities and assist in business case developement/definition for other systems and projects.

Develops creative solutions to the complex business problems and communicate with the business partners and other customers to solve business problems to deliver the required solutions.

Design and develop requirements for new functionalities

Come up with application performance improvement ideas/suggestions and implement the same

Prepare documentation for client review. Conduct reviews meeting to discuss findings, risks & challenges and recommends the solutions. 

Writes and/or revises program documentation, application operational procedures and client user guides in accordance with Marriott / TCS guidelines

Designs the systems test requirements to ensure fail safe integration of a program into a production system

Organize, coordinate and execute system integration testing

Supports customer satisfaction process by taking accountability and addressing their concerns/ issues

Provides accurate estimates of work effort for client project

Guide/ Mentor other team members in terms of Technical and cooperate with them in meeting project deadlines and deliveries

Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Project"
