Position: Java Developer
Location: Bloomington, IL
Duration: 9 Months
Candidate should have strong Java/J2EE service development skills, development of new versions of existing services and supporting already created services.
The candidate's work will involve developing software across a wide range of technologies.
The following technologies will be involved, and skills / experience with them will be an asset:
Java
WAS 8.5
Junit
Javascript
JQuery
CSS
Mustache
Spring MVC
Maven
Jenkins
SPLUNK
Subversion
ApacheCXF
Webservices (Specifically SOAP based webservices)
WSRR, SOA Concepts
Though the candidate actual work would primarily be developing new versions of existing services, and supporting already created services, the candidate would be expected to eventually grow to a point where he/she can participate in design as well as development.
Responsibilities include
• Develop, test, and maintain application software working with established processes
• Develop and execute unit test plans
• Support formal testing and resolve test defects
• Develop technical designs for application development
• Review and contribute to development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities
