Rate: $Market/hr on C2C/1099/W2 All Inc.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Produce the following Architecture design and development artifacts:

•             Business Object Models (business entities/objects and their relationships)

•             Service Models describing the service layers in the desired business domain

•             Service Specifications describing the input and output interfaces for the service, its security, editing and interface protocol requirements

•             eXtensible Markup Language (XML) interfaces and files

•             XML Schema Definitions (XSDs)

•             Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files

•             Sequence and Activity diagrams

•             Documented, unit-tested and integration-tested program code

•             Database query code (SQL)

•             Technical Documentation

•             Defect and enhancement analysis documentation.

•             New technology evaluations resulting from research, proof of concept (POC) and proof of technology (POT) work

 

Specific activities include:

·         Leading an agile development team, analyzing requirements and designing applications and system components within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment to implement functions for complex governmental programs.  This includes creation of system and activity diagrams, business object models, service and component models, service and component specifications, service and component interfaces.  Tasks are to be performed utilizing the following tools and technologies: XML, XSD, WSDL, UML and Rational Software Architect (RSA).

·         Developing and configuring system components and services exposed via Web and Service Component Architecture (SCA) bindings that support cross-platform application and database interoperability using WebSphere Java and Rational Application Developer (RAD).  Developing J2EE and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Web Applications by orchestrating those components with integration technologies including WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) or IBM Integration Designer (IID), MQSeries, XML, XPath, BPEL, SOAP, and WSDL to be deployed on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Process Server (WPS) on AIX runtime environment in support of complex governmental programs.

·         Developing complex relational database queries using ANSI standard SQL and PLS/SQL to be used with Oracle and DB2 databases giving special consideration to transaction management to be included in implementation of complex governmental systems.  The implementation utilizes a variety of frameworks, tools and utilities such as Spring; Struts; Java Script; jQuery; Ajax and JSF or WebSphere portal; JAXB; data access layer abstraction through such frameworks as Hibernate or Enterprise JAVA Beans (EJB); Ant scripts for build and deployment management; code generation; quality assurance, troubleshooting and quick problem resolution utilizing tools like JUnit, Fortify, PMD and Log4J.

·         Working on complex governmental systems administering entitlements to citizens or other complex financial governmental programs. 

 

Skills Needed
