Title-                  Project Manager (LMS & Life Science Background)

Location –         Groton, CT

Duration-          Contract

Description –

·         Project leaders who can juggle several projects very successfully without the client being constantly present to micro-manage.  They need to lead the projects, report on status reports to the client and escalate to the client at the right times.

·         The candidate has to thrive as a driver of projects / out front leading / owning the timelines / escalating only for issues that need higher visibility for resolution occasionally.

The PMs must:

·         Be self-starters and need little supervision

·         Be very capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

·         Have experience utilizing shared resources

·         Be available to manage off-hours deployments

·         Be available to facilitate urgent system issues at any hour/day

They should:

·         Have Learning systems experience

·         Have experience working across groups and time zones

PMs who have the following responsibilities and duties:

·         Manage multiple projects associated with the maintenance, support, minor and major enhancements of, and data migration to one or all of the applications in the enterprise learning suite

·         Work with the other Learning Systems Project Managers, in tracking and monitoring projects and schedules

·         Coordinate with the relevant project stakeholders, and facilitate smooth execution of projects

·         Schedule Project meetings, as directed required

·         Prepare documents in adherence to the SDLC process

·         Maintain the Project Schedule and track action items

·         Communicate risks and issues to the Project managers

·         Work with Business stakeholders to understand their business requirements, and translate them into business understandable format
