MODE OF INTERVIEW: Phone interview

CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A TEAM LEAD IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY

Responsibilities:

·         Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks

·         Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals

·         Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real world problems

Skills Required:

·         Overall 10 years of experience in programming and software development, data analysis, testing, requirements definition and management, and systems design

• Exposure to Capital Markets, including quantitative finance, valuation methodologies, cross asset product knowledge, risk management, regulatory, settlement, trading, accounting,  market and reference data management

·         Experience with agile development methodologies 

·         Background in object-oriented design and analysis, software specification including UML diagramming, and data modeling

·         Preferred technical skills include:

o   Business Objects XI

o   Oracle/Sybase IQ database

o   PL/SQL

o   Crystal Reports

o   Composite Software

o   UNIX scripting

o   ETL tools such as Ab Initio and Informatica

·         Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred

• Experience delivering performance, scalable systems
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
