Position: Business System Analyst with strong Requirements Analyst exp

Location: Scottsdale,AZ

Duration: 6 months

Job Duties & Responsibilities    

·        Achieves and maintains a solid understanding of the business environment as a whole, including business practices, processes and strategy.     

·        Facilitates requirements workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)    

·        Performs individual aspects of the requirements specification function, including requirements prioritization and functional and non-functional specification development.    

·        Interfaces with business SMEs & end users to develop business process models (as-is and to-be) and perform Gap Analysis    

·        Create Business Requirements and Functional Requirements Specifications (use cases/stories), business rules, system interface requirements and Non Functional requirements    

·        Works with project architects, development leads & testing to translate requirements to design    

·        Provides traceability of requirements to use cases for ensuring solution will meet the business need    

·        Works with testing team and business SMEs to validate the solution; define user acceptance strategies, plans data scenarios and facilitates Business User Acceptance Testing    

·        The RA team for this project has technical background and experience allowing them to analyze existing applications, interfaces and data, document their functionality and help to design improvements.     

·        Analyzes current state technology. Analyzes and defines the impact to the systems environment.     

·        Manages requirements volatility, integrity and continuity via change management and reprioritization    

·        Demonstrates a solid understanding of the IT environment as a whole, including information flows, applications and infrastructure, and IT roadmaps.  Must have SDLC project experience.    

·        Data Analyst performs discovery for potentially multiple data sources, business rules and transformation.  Documents high-level features to support analytical/data needs of the project.  Perform data exploration with loaded data.

·        Profiles data using a variety of tools and techniques and present findings to project stakeholders to validate.
