Job Title :  Software Quality Test Engineer

 

Job Duties :  Develops test environment software and production test programs ,Adheres to GMP and ISO practices ,Works with development and manufacturing organizations ,Writes and debugs software programs

 

Industry Experience:  Greater than 5 Years

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Lead testing activities on medical device software and systems projects •Create project specific test strategies and approaches •Create, develop and maintain test software •Create, maintain, execute and document test plans, protocols and test cases •Participate in all phases of product development as needed such as reviewing requirements, design, usability, risk assessment and defects •Design and implement automated testing •Effectively communicate findings, problems and solutions to project teams and stakeholders •Collaborate and maintain excellent working relationships with team members and stakeholders •All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System. •Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations. •All other duties as assigned. •Travel requirement: Less than 10% E

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED: •B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or Engineering YEARS OF EXPERIENCE •5+ years of experience Looking for a senior software test engineer to augment the team working on releasing our next generation product.

 

Desired qualifications include: •Experience with FDA regulations and working under a medical device quality system •Familiarity with IEC 62304, IEC 62366 and ISO 14971 •Software test experience in an Agile/Scrum/Iterative development environment •Good understanding of servce oriented architecture (SOA) and experience testing •Test automation using Squish or other tools •Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environment •Coding/scripting skills in C, C++, Python, Matlab, Perl, SQL or similar •Experience with black box, gray box and white box testing strategies •Ability to work in a team environment •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Good project management/time management skills
