Position : Lead Android Developer           

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Duration: Long Term

Required:-

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience

• Hands-on coding, systems analysis, design, and delivery of projects assigned.

• Experience developing testing suites for mobile applications

• Must be strong with core apps framework, design with mobile technologies.

• Work with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy .

• Assess feasibility and ramifications of new business requirements. Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary

• Stay abreast of advancements in E-Commerce technologies in order to determine relevance and possible impact to existing system

• Recommend and drive adoption of engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing"

• Excellent technical knowledge of Java for Android and the Eclipse IDE, Android Studio, SVN

• Demonstrates strong experience/knowledge of the Android SDK

• Comfortable working through the entire stack from user interface through systems levels

• Strong knowledge and understanding of different Android platforms

• Knowledge in spirit and strong object oriented development skills.

• Experience in consuming web services (SOAP/REST) and processing data (XML/JSON) is essential.

• Experience with SQLite, NoSQL or other databases.

• Extensive UI Design experience.

• Good understanding of OOP Model Development Concept.

• Experience with performance optimization for mobile devices.

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript would be considered a plus.

• Good Knowledge in Java, Android SDK,XML is required

• Experience in Hybrid application development includes:

-PhoneGap – Must have solid experience with PhoneGap a.k.a. Cordova

-Must have experience with at least 2 Mobile JavaScript frameworks Sencha, Kendo, Angular JS, Node.JS.

-Knowledge in CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap

-HTML5 & JavaScript – Excellent HTML5 & JavaScript capabilities

-Must have Excellent JQuery support
