Role: Drupal Developer

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite at Client)

Job Status: Contractor
Mode of interview: Telephonic

Responsibilities Include:

·         5+ years of development experience with Drupal

·         Experience with Unix/Linux environments

·         Analyze and debug problems and develop solutions that meet business goals and requirements

·         Work closely with web designer and assist with technical support for front-end development  

·         Proactive engagement in project challenges and problem solving

·         Contribute in brainstorming, planning, and strategy sessions

Requirements:

·         Strong working knowledge of PHP and web standards

·         Strong understanding of Drupal 7 environment and compatible modules

·         Experience setting up, configuring, administering and maintaining Drupal sites

·         Interested in and ability to learn new technologies 

·         Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines on a variety of tasks

·         Take direction well, but be self-driven.

·         Bachelors in relevant field required

·         Communication -- can express ideas verbally and in writing

Bonus Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

·         Experience developing custom modules that don't break core Drupal features

·         Experience with developing and administering databases including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server

·         Working experience with data visualization and mapping technologies like Google Maps, Google API, MapBox and other relevant tools and technologies

·         Experience developing responsive sites/mobile web sites with HTML5 and CSS3
