Job Title: Sr. SAP Vertex Tax Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $62/hr all inc.
Interview: Phone
· Have experience configuring and using sales and use taxes for SD and Procurement in SAP
· Have experience in Vertex O series 5.0 or higher
· Be knowledgeable on the various types of taxes and fees in the United States, down to the state level and lower.
· Have enough Vertex experience to be able to evaluate complex state tax rules and compliance items to determine how Vertex can be used by the bottler
· Be able to understand bottler tax requirements for customers and suppliers and identify areas in ECC where we may have gaps in capability
· Solve for the GAPs using Vertex, SAP or both
· Set up customer exemptions, understand customer exemption process and understand SAP Customer taxation processing
· Have in-depth experience using Vertex reporting tools
· Have in-depth experience processing and testing AP, SD and FI transactions in ECC
· Have problem solving skills related to errors in SAP
