Position : SAP ABAP with Strong Web dynpro exp.

Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

Strong ABAP skills, hands on exp in reports, IDOC, debugging, Performance etc.

Good Communication, talk to functional / biz and if there are any issues / problem, S/he can act on it and solve it independently. 

Need to work with offshore and coordinate as needed.

WebDynpro with an FPM (floor plan Management) knowledge.

Please mention your years of exp. At the end of the point below :

1) Object oriented ABAP

2) Web Dynpro ABAP with personalization, POWL, FPM working knowledge (new addition in ABAP 7.4 - mainly ABAP channel) and using WD application through SAP portal

3) Web services (w/ PI, SOAMANAGER config, SOAP UI testing for web services)

4) Database - (buffer, non-buffer, index etc), table maintenance event

5) SD, MM, FI general process flow and table/tcode knowledge

6) ALE/IDOC/EDI (basic type, message type, process code, partner profile, output determination - NACE, reprocessing Idoc, error handling), BAPI

7) Enhancement - user-exit, BADI, implicit / explicit enhancements

8) Understanding of transport landscape in multiple enhancement projects environment 

9) Batch jobs, spool

10) file based interface vs RFC call

11) ABAP performance tuning, parallel processing

12) SAP upgrade project experience or commonly used transaction codes

13) sw development methodology

14) understanding of IT, UAT, Cutover task etc

15) knowledge / experience of HANA (nice to have)
