Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

·         Strong development skills using Sqoop, Flume, Pig, HBase, MapReduce and Web Services in Kerberos and non-kerberos environment

·         Experience in Cloudera.

·         Strong on core Java server-side programming, shell scripting and SQL

·         Good understanding of Hadoop Distributed environment and its echo system components

·         Experience in Ingestion Pipeline from various data sources (Relational and Logs) into HDFS and query development using Impala, Hive

·         Proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues

·         Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

·         Must have strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good-to-Have

·         Experience with Amazon Web Service product offerings and capabilities.

·         In-depth experience in Infrastructure automation in different cloud platforms and experience implementing web services using cloud service offerings from public and private cloud service providers (such as AWS, Azure and Google Apps Engine).

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Should act as SPOC for all architecture and technology related challenges regarding Cloudera Hadoop Platform

Should be able to communicate with the customer about the technical challenges and should provide alternative solutions

Should liaise with Offshore team during Offshore working hours

4

Conduct training sessions to Offshore and Onsite team as and when required
