In addition to the JD provided guidance from the client states  that many of the Dev Ops potentials he spoke to so far  had a lot more Release Engineering-type experience but less experience maintaining servers, working with the load balancing team, updating certificates, etc.  That's was what he expects, but he also confirmed that the chosen candidate does need to have some of the platform maintenance experience, and the candidate needs to know that it will be part of their job.  They'll also have to be prepared to be on call every second weekend as necessary. Client does get very few production issues but it does happen occasionally.

·         Interact with Technical architect, data architect, development team and management staff on a daily basis.

·         Work with team members and independently to develop and configure Microsoft Dynamics.

·         This work would include: Customization of entities, Plug-in development, workflow development, JavaScript development and security configuration.   The incumbent may also assist the team with code migration of the Dynamics solution as well.

·         Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012 team edition to develop and maintain code bases including branching, merging and code builds

·         Utilize VB .NET (4.x) as needed in support of the Dynamics solution.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
