Role: Senior Software Tester

Location: Morristown, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

 F2F Interview 

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Creation of end to end test scenarios for all Policy Decision business processes

·         Test planning including core and regression testing for monthly release cycle

·         Test execution and documentation of test results

·         Defect Management -Evaluate and log defects identified and follow-up till they are fixed and retest

·         Reporting – Effective communication of Test planning, preparation and execution

Additional Responsibilities:

•        Participates in analysis of issues & solutions with Business analyst and other members of Squad

•        Perform all possible roles according to the needs of the squad including analysis, facilitation of meetings, liaison with business customers, vendors, IT teams and help achieve the squad's mission

Individuals that would best match our need should have:

•        Commercial P&C Insurance experience

•        ISO Insurance rating knowledge would be a plus

•        Work experience or knowledge on one or more of the following LOBs would be a plus – Auto, General Liability, Worker Compensation, Property, Crime, Inland Marine, etc

•        Policy Decisions experience

•        Integration testing experience

•        Excellent analysis, problem solving and test skills

•        Excellent communication skills

•        Proactive and Attention to Detail

•        Effective planning and organizational skills

•        Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances

•        Work experience and/or knowledge with Insurity' s Policy decisions would be a plus

•        Knowledge of Agile concepts would be a plus

•        Experience using Jira, Confluence and Zephyr would be a plus.
