Role:          .Net Lead

Location:  Pittsburg, PA

Duration:  12 Months

Job Description:

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills               

•6 + years of experience in the field of .Net

• 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level

• 5+ Good experience in MVC

• Extensive experience developing Web applications

• Advanced SQL coding skills

• Knowledge in Performance tuning

• Hands on SSRS will be a plus

• Technical team management experience including offshore team members

• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Retail related data warehousing experience a plus

Roles and responsibility              

ü Responsible for overall design and standards

ü Guide onshore and offshore Developers to ensure standards are met

ü Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle

ü Evaluate new requirements and participate in Proof-of-Concept projects

ü Stay current with emerging industry trends

ü Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks

ü Create Detail design document based on the business requirement

ü Understanding business requirement and convert into workable development packages

ü Good written and oral communication

ü Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions

ü SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills  

Work with different teams – Business, Solutions –technical and team of Architects to create overall user interface, Implement  solutions with complete considerations on Infrastructure capability, performance, supportability to achieve end user business results.
