Required Skills and Experience:
- 8 years of experience utilizing VB.NET
- Proficient in designing and developing standalone VB.NET WinForms and console applications
- Demonstrated experience in object-oriented application architecture, design, and development
- Expertise with integration of .NET applications with SQL Server 2005
- Expertise designing and developing VB.NET applications and services
- Thorough working knowledge of the .NET Framework and the CLR
- Proficient developing SQL Server stored procedures and queries
- Proficient in use of file System Objects in VB.NET
- Able to complete assigned tasks with minimum amount of supervision / direction
- Able to effectively prioritize concurrent tasks and complete work on schedule in a demanding environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to develop design documentation and program specifications
