Job Title: Quality Analyst

Reports to: Lead, Quality Assurance

Department: Information Technology                   

Work Location: Central New Jersey (Local or nearby NJ)

Duration: 18 Months to 24 Months project.

Interview Mode: First telephone interview and then in-person interview.

The requirement is for a QA Engineer with both Manual and Automation experience, for a new application development project in a fast paced agile environment. The ratio of manual testing will be higher initially. However the ultimate goal is to automate most of the testing, so that ratio will change as the project progresses, to more automated testing and less manual testing. A successful candidate will have a long term vision and the ability to plan and execute it, along with the enthusiasm to work on a brand new yet complex product.

Requirements:

• Extensive Manual testing experience

• Extensive experience with HP QTP (UFT) and SoapUI

• Extensive experience testing various Web Services

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and RDBMS

• 5+ years of Manual Black Box/Gray Box software testing experience

• 3+ years of Automation testing experience

• Experience in Agile methodologies a must

• Must be able to write test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts

• Must be able to write SQL Queries

• Must be able to prepare test data

• Experience with JIRA and HP QC/ALM a plus

• Python and Kendo UI knowledge a plus

• Excellent communication and people skills

• College degree or equivalent level of experience preferred.
