 Qualifications:

•Professional experience and expert skills in JAVA/J2EE(Min 8+Years), Object Oriented, Design Patterns, XML, DB2, Oracle and SQL.

•Must have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security)

•Must have excellent Design skills (UML, Class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.)

•Must have cross-communication skills to work with other domains/teams

•Desirable knowledge includes Tomcat, JBOSS, Websphere, Struts, Ajax, Spring, JQuery, , JUnit, Web Service, Rule Engines (e.g. DROOLS, Camel, iLog, BRMS), ANT, Maven

•Java Certifications (developer, web component, and architect) is preferred.

•Thorough knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies.

•Thorough knowledge of diverse technologies and new technical architecture principles and concepts.

•Thorough understanding of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs.

•Thorough knowledge of a business function(s) and I/T industry business issues.

•Strong facilitation and consensus building skills.

•Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills and strong work ethics.

Practitioners of the IT Application Development profession primarily focus on providing high quality, cost effective information technology solutions to business partners by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications. Associates are expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and maintain applications.

With minimal guidance, modifies complex applications programs from detailed specifications.  Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.  Competent to work on most phases of applications programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in phases.

Behavior Characteristics:

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is preferred.
