Certified Pega Developer with CARE MANAGEMENT
Hourly Rate 50-52/hr
Duration: 6 months; extensions likely
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
PURPOSE
As a Pega Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of complex Care Management systems utilizing Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) platform. Key activities include analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to our client's IT standards and policies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop solutions built on the Pega Rules Process Commander platform
Ensure maintainable solutions by providing clear guidance on development best-practices, performing regular code and design reviews, leading and coaching project team members, and representing intent and approach to client staff
Develop SOAP and REST based web services to integrate disparate systems with Pega
Create and execute process to support standard software development principles
Lead project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches requirements
Should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks
Review requirements documentation and translate into clearly documented, detailed technical designs
Assign tasks appropriate to more junior project team members in both technical and process consulting specialties

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
Experience – 3-5 years of experience
Pega PRPC v6.1 SP1 or greater
Experience with integration development (SOA, REST/SOAP web services, integration middleware)
Specialized Knowledge (preferred previous experience) –
2+ years experience in Java and JEE development
Pega Care Management Framework experience
Experience in healthcare or healthcare-related field
Experience with Care Management systems
Additional Qualifications –
PRPC Certified System Architect (minimum) certification required
Proven record of excellent communication skills
Demonstrated professional and interpersonal skills
Self-directed and pro-active
Previous consulting experience is a plus
Collaborative professional style
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Mandatory Skills:
Pega PRPC v6.1 SP1 or greater, with appropriate certification (CSA or higher)
