Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration : Long Term

Must Have Skills:

1. Contribute to the agile-based SDLC for product development, creating necessary standards, tools and best practices in a clearly documented form.

2. Drive product development in an agile environment, duties to include:

Ø  Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related practices and ceremonies

Ø  Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress

Ø  Create and radiate team Working Agreements and other practices documentation

Ø  Ensure development teams are practicing according to core agile principles including, collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility

Ø  Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency to Product & Sprint Backlogs

Ø  Recommend improvements and contribute to advancement of practices

Ø  Collaborate with development managers, project/program managers, and product managers/owners to ensure teams are both "building the thing right" and "building the right thing"

Ø  Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

Ø  Assist team in making appropriate commitments through transparency of their capacity and past performance (velocity) and through story prioritization, definition, and task breakdown

Ø  Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal

Ø  Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

Ø  Empower the teams to self-organize

Ø  Facilitate Continuous Improvement to create high-performing teams

Ø  Ensure the teams produce shippable code with each increment, achieving a robust Definition of Done

Ø  Must be a Certified Scrum Master
