Job Description:
The Web Systems Analyst is responsible for the functional and technical design specifications for initiatives adding new features and functionality to B2B eCommerce systems.
To implement the new functionality in the Web systems, the Sr. Systems Analyst works with the business to fully understand the business requirements and a gain a complete understanding of the business strategy. The Sr. Systems Analyst will then consider all the affected systems -- front end, middleware and backend systems, and design a solution in keeping with sound design practices to implement the new system functionality.
Skills/Experience:
· Software / Business process design experience (process modeling, use case analysis)
· Requirements / Design Facilitation (creating requirements and functional/technical specifications)
· Project / Team lead experience
· 5 years formal SDLC experience
· Solid understanding and experience with integrated software development - front end, middle tier, and backend.
· Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies, middleware, etc...
· Understanding of RESTful services, SOAP, WSDLs
· Prior hands on programming experience preferred.
