- Supports the design, construction and implementation phases of system development and/or upgrade projects in the area of SAP FI/CO modules.
- Analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement functional specifications. Design SAP solutions as needed and supported by functional requirements
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements, as Team Lead or while under general direction of management.
- Provides design and analysis of business reporting, data structures, process mapping and testing plans for successful implementation of the solutions.
- Delivers high quality SAP solutions including leading edge solutions as applicable.
- Able to translate understanding of financial processes, e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Monthly Financial Close, Management Reporting, Legal Reporting, etc. into SAP processes and configuration.
- Develops trusted working relationship with key customers of SAP system.
- Diagnoses and resolves customer's SAP base support issues, often working with key base support outsourcing partner teams.
- Acts as a lead at times in working with sourcing partners.
- Prior Integration or a Merger & Acquisition (M&A) experience preferred.
