ETL Data Warehouse Tester

support multiple internal applications for a large client located in Baltimore City.

The position is on a long term, contract basis.

The successful candidate must have front and back end testing capabilities + strong ETL experience.

OVERVIEW and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ETL Data Warehouse tester will focus on many aspects of Quality Assurance.

You will be joining a small team

of QA Analysts in the supporting the entire Application Development team, and will report directly to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Understand Business/Functional Requirement to develop, validate, and implement test plans and test cases

Execute test plans/strategy, create test cases, and user acceptance criteria

Design, develop, and execute quality assurance control processes

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience conducting Data Warehouse/ETL/BI Testing

Knowledge, understanding, and enforcement of Full Life Cycle Development Methodologies and Process

Strong background in SQL Commands

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

PREFERRED:

Experience with Test Automation and Performance Tools VUGEN + LoadRunner)

BS in Computer Science or related field
