Job Description

·         Client seeks a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support projects for Data Migration and Application Interfaces related to the conversion of core banking applications to a new technology platform in Salt Lake City, Utah.

·         This position supports the management team in the conversion related activities related to the new core banking system.

·         This position will primarily be dedicated to Deposit related systems and will assist with data analysis as well as the creation of

·         Business Requirements and other supporting documents.

Job Responsibilities

·         Responsible to work with various business and technical resources to review, analyze and evaluate data fields and application interfaces in order to create required documents.

·         Performs and participates in the analysis of data migration and application data interfaces.

·         Responsible for following appropriate standards and requirement gathering processes.

·         Performs project management functions as required.

·         Monitor and evaluate project timelines and identify areas of risk and opportunities.

·         Oversee the organization and storage of documents using SharePoint.

·         Assist in the turnover and acceptance of documents to/from other business areas.

·         Participate in business and technical reviews as well as "working" meetings.

·         Ensure the adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

·         Understands and negotiates needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.

·         Communicates- writing, speaking, and presentation- concepts and constraints completely.

·         Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Job Requirement

·         Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer

·         Science, Business Administration or other related field.

·         Requires 5+ years' experience in system implementations, project management, multiple technologies, processes, application, etc. or other directly related experience.

·         A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

·         Requires a solid understanding of banking and Deposits operations and business activities.

·         Previous coding experience with Cobol and Mainframe systems.

·         Requires advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and technical staff employees.

·         Requires expert analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.

·         Proficient knowledge of business systems, procedures, project techniques and practices.

·         Proficient in the use of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

·         Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Must be able to meet deadlines and function well under pressure.

·         Must have strong writing skills.

·         Thinks at varying levels, from high concept to low detail.

·         Grasps business-centric design principles.

·         Ability to elicit, gather and analyze user requirements.

·         Ability to function in a consultative role.

·         Ability to show initiative in ambiguous circumstances.

·         Flexibility to take on multiple responsibilities and tasks necessary pertaining to the program.

·         Flexibility in work schedule required to meet needs and to accommodate various meeting schedules.

·         This may require work outside the normal Monday through Friday schedule.
