Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

• Higher education domain and/or system experience.
• Developing requirements and specifications for enterprise applications.
• Knowledge on usability and application performance considerations
• Able to learn software solutions, business processes, and design techniques quickly and efficiently
• Experience in performing functional analysis on business systems for software solution development
• Strong communication skills, oral and written;

Roles and responsibility

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing  requirements using document analysis, requirements workshops,
business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, competitive product analysis, and task and workflow analysis and customer interactions.
This role is integral in proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements while delivering product specification artifacts as needed with Analysis document/ test scenarios.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Analyze and review business, technical, and functional requirements
Work in close partnership with an development team to create, analyze requirements in support of meeting commitments.
Write comprehensive definition of  the scope of deliverable for the development team.
Develop innovative and highly usable solutions for product requirements.
Collaborate with designers on interactions and user flows.
Work with development and other stake holders to implement solutions.
Assist in testing existing and proposed software solutions
Assist with the development team for customer-focused documentation of software solutions
