Job Title: Python Developer/
Duration: Long Term
Location: NY/NJ
Candidates local to NY/NJ preferred. F2F interview required after phone interview. Experience Level: 7-8 years
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Primary responsibility is gathering and correlating data that will be used for monitoring instrumentation for a new UCS datacenter
· Development in Linux/Python
· Work with a group of 6-10 other infrastructure people that own hardware, storage, network, etc. to get a good / decent logical understanding of a data center
· Work and understand disparate yet related data sets and be able to correlate them together in a meaningful time series format.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 7+ years of professional software development experience
· Understanding of Functional Programming Concepts
· Ability to start green field projects and propose designs
· Experience in Linux/Python Dev
· Good logical understanding of a Data Center
· Experience is working and understanding of disparate yet related data sets and be able to correlate them together in a meaningful time series format.
