Manager Notes -

• 5 + years of experience assigned to agile projects as Business Analyst and/or Product Owner (in many instances these are one in the same)
• Superb oral and written communication skills (would like to see samples of work, desensitized)
• Hospitality Industry experience (i.e. cruise, air, hotel, car, online travel provider, etc…)

• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

The IT Business Analyst must be proficient in performing core tasks in the requirements management process including:

·         Elicit project relevant requirements and business rules using various techniques (interviews, workshops, brainstorming, questionnaires)

·         Organize and document requirements in accordance with industry standards (Vision, Business Requirements Document, Use Case, Product Backlog, User Story)

·         Manage the review and approval of requirements with project team members and stakeholders

·         Control, analyze and communicate approved changes to requirements through the software development lifecycle

The IT Business Analyst will be required to perform other tasks which include:

·         Business process modeling and process reengineering

·         Evaluate (third party) software and hardware as potential solutions when applicable

·         Other job related functions as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent technical business experience is required. Business Analyst and Scrum professional certifications are a plus.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner or equivalent project related experience in both agile and waterfall software development environments is required.

·         Outstanding oral and written communication skills

·         Strong facilitation skills

·         Excellent interpersonal team skills

·         A minimum of 2 years of experience with cruise, airline or hotel electronic distribution systems, including core user and system interfaces

·         Knowledge and experience with Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
