Job Title : Sr. Data Modeler

Location : Minneapolis/MN(NEED LOCALS)

Duration: 6 months 

Interview process: 1st Rd - Phone, 2nd Rd - Onsite

• 5+ years' experience in the area of data management, data analysis, or reporting
  
• Expertise with Salesforce.com, Java webservices, systems design and implementation and data warehousing principles and methodologies 
  
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ErWin or Power Designer 
  
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase 
  
• Experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica or SSIS 
  
• Financial services, insurance, or medical records industry experience highly desirable 
  
• Excellent communication skills – need to be able to interface with business as well as technical leaders 
  
• Ability to work with remote and offshore development teams 
  
• Experience working in an agile or continuous improvement environment 
  
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies 
  
• Some travel (< 10%) may be required to other company offices 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  

• Lead the design and development of data mart and data warehouse solutions supporting a wide variety of business requirements 
  
• Develop strategies for the migration of legacy applications 
  
• Develop data standards and promote their use 
  
• Maintenance of data dictionary and/or metadata repositories 
  
• Mentor team members in the development of complex data movement/SOA/ETL solutions 
  
• Present and socialize designs amongst peers as well as other business units
