Description Key Skill Sets Needed:

 * Hands-on experience with test plan development, test case generation, test plan execution, formal defect tracking and reporting methodologies.

* Experience developing and implementing software product test strategies and plans for Browser-based products

 * Experience developing and implementing automated test scripts using leading industry tools

* Knowledge of the following technologies/applications a plus: 

- MS Windows 

- Linux/Unix 

- MS Excel 

- Oracle Databases 

- SQL 

- Restful Interfaces 

- XML 

- JSON 

- XSL 

- SoapUI

 - Rational Functional Tester Industry Experience:

* Financial services specifically in the asset management space (institutional or wealth management) Job Requirements and Description:

* 5 years' experience in a QA role;

* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;

* Design, build and support test plans and automated test scripts;

* Formalize test planning, test case generation, test plan execution, and test monitoring;

* Perform defect tracking and reporting;

* Work with various operating systems like Windows, Linux and Solaris;

* Achieve backend or DB testing on Oracle and SQL Server;

* Perform Functional, Regression, Performance and Load testing;

* Create and execute automated test cases using tools such as Rational Functional Tester;

* Communicate with internal and external clients in understanding their issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
