Job Description:

Title: Data/Network Security 2 - REQUIREMENT

Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Must: LinkedIn Id, Skype (or) G-talk ID.

Responsible for identifying and correcting a variety of data management issues.

Education/Experience:

• High School Degree and Bachelor's degree (BS in Finance or BBA in Information Systems)/relevant field or equivalent work experience required.

• 8+ years working with data integrity for security master maintenance across fixed income and equity products.

Major Job Duties:

• Set up, update and maintain securities in all asset classes (fixed income products, equities, options, OTC derivatives, etc.) in proprietary and third-party operations and accounting systems.

• Initiate and maintain reference data on securities and issuers.

• Create reports and control checks to correct security data in firm trading systems.

• Respond to inquiries related to security master functions.

• Diagnose data exceptions, recommend, and develop controls to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain security master data (security reference, derived, fundamental, and analytic data) and workflows associated with maintaining the data.

Key Tasks:

• Identifies, reports, and resolves serious security violations; maintains systems to protect data from unauthorized users and anticipated or unanticipated risks.

• Publishes, monitors, and mandates information and computer security policies and security awareness information and programs.

• Schedules and supervises periodic network security assessments across multiple platforms and/or distributed networks.

• Performs complex security resource and access rule maintenance. Develops and implements security monitoring and violation reports that identify any attempt to access unauthorized materials.

• Provides security support in a distributed environment. Participates in technical evaluations of enterprise security access control products.

Skills and Competencies:

• A strong knowledge of products including bonds, CDS, leveraged loans, and equities.

• Basic familiarity with capital structures and issuer relationships, debt guarantees, and corporate actions / succession events.

• Familiarity with investment data sources; i.e. Bloomberg, Paladyne, Market.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of the Bloomberg Excel API preferred.

• Knowledge of system integrity, data validation, Order Management Systems

• Ability to communicate well.

• As a Cyber Intrusion Analyst (Information Security Intrusion Analyst Senior) reporting to the Cyber Operations Department, you will be a part of a diversified financial services firm that reflects the needs, values and goals of our customers, employees, communities and shareholders.

• As an Intrusion Analyst, you will be a member of a multi-discipline team within the Security Operations Center, responsible for 24x7 incident response activities.

• You will perform network security monitoring in order to detect and respond to potential cyber security incidents impacting the enterprise.

• You will ensure that the events are properly identified, analyzed, communicated, defended against and reported.

• You will be required to employ various intrusion detection tools to include a security event information management (SEIM) system, intrusion detection systems, web proxies, as well as, endpoint intrusion protection and antivirus systems.
