Job Description

Contracting position for Software Engineering position for the Site Reliability Engineering Tools/Application Quality Team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Quality team is responsible for ensuring all products, services and tools developed by SRE are released and made General Available with the highest standards of quality; Setting the gold standard for reliability within the organization. This team is the gatekeepers of quality who delight our internal and external customers by planning, testing and stretching our limits to increase TPV and protect revenue.
As a SRE Software CQ Engineer you will be responsible for-
Assist in building tools and frameworks for automated testing.
Write test plans and design test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Work closely with the development team to ensure test coverage
SRE CQ supports the following teams within SRE: Tools, Merchant Monitoring, SiteBots, Failed Customer Interactions and Critical Issue Engineering.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required; Master s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) a plus
Must have a passion for customers and a commitment to quality
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is a must
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
4-5 years of experience
Java and/or C++ programming experience
Must be a team player and work collaboratively with others Agile software development knowledge a plus
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with SQL and scripting
Experience with web application technologies: Node.Js, JavaScript, CSS, XML and HTML.
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience with Source-code control systems, preferably GIT.
JIRA bug tracking system a plus
