Core Competencies

This consultant will work with the IT organization and user departments to develop efficient and effective SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements. They will assist clients with defining requirements for their SharePoint and Office System based solutions. Design information architecture appropriate to each particular client. Support all components of the Microsoft SharePoint environment

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field required, plus 
• Proven experience with the design, planning and implementation in SharePoint Portal and SharePoint Services 2007/2010. 
• Proven ability to deploy SharePoint solutions that integrate with a number of other 3rd party solutions and custom applications.
• Proven in-depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint, SharePoint templates (site and list templates), web parts development, workflow and content management.
• Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as they apply to SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Farm architectures.
• Experience with SharePoint and CMS site administration. 
• Experience using with SharePoint Designer 2007 / 2010 especially as related to workflows.
• Experience implementing Business Data Catalog solutions and/or Business Connectivity Services solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Windows architecture including Windows 2003/ 2008 server design and support as they relate to SharePoint..
• Good documentation and analytical skills.
• Strong customer interaction skills including verbal and written communication are essential
