Job Description:

IBM Cognos Administrator. 
Looking for seasoned IBM Cognos Administrator to install and configure the development, test, UAT and production environments on a Linux virtual platform. 
• Experience with a multi-server installation of Cognos in 10.2 or later required 
• Experience in the administration of Cognos 10.2 or later required 
• Experience in the installation and administration of Cognos 11 helpful but not required 
• Experience in upgrading and/or patching of the Cognos tool 
• Experience in configuration of the Cognos tool 
• Thorough understanding of the Cognos Security and experience with a successful implementation 
• Knowledge of Intel Virtual Server Configuration and its impacts to the tool 
• Knowledge of LDAP authentication methods 
• Thorough understanding of performance tuning for the Cognos Environment 
• Knowledge of running Cognos on a Linux platform 
• Strong Linux skills 
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS 
• Experience with implementing SSL within Cognos 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to cross train team members on your knowledge
