Title: Oracle DBA
Location : Atlanta, GA( Need Local Only)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Essential Skills
· Experience in Oracle Database Administration (8i,9i,10,11g) in various Linux flavors & Windows environment.
· Expertise in installation, configuration, patching, upgrade, performance tuning in variety of Oracle Database versions
· Reviews database design and make recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.
· Ability to work independently & Team management
· Manage all aspects of the physical database including schema's, DDL, users, security, etc. in development, UAT and production environments
· Identify and resolve problems occurring in all database environments including performance related issues (i.e. database & SQL tuning).
· Support regular DBA utilities, reorgs, index builds, etc and DBA tools, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c, TOAD, SQL Developer.
· Assist with performance and Disaster Recovery testing(Oracle 10g, 11g).
· Must have SOX compliance working experience.
· Hands on Experience in ServiceNow would be helpful.
· Develop and Troubleshoot shell scripts.
