SQL/Linux Developer
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Here's what I know about the SQL/Linux role at Oshkosh. They need STRONG Linux background and also strong SQL queries. someone who can help write SOP's
We need a US Citizen or GC person for this role which will be for 4-6 months but could go longer. They would also like the person to have some experience doing documentation for this area. They will only need to do the phone interview for the positon. They have all Linux servers there and run multiple queries daily. They will be involved in a support role. They will run reconciliations by running queries that run across AS400 databases, and Oracle tables. They will be pulling log files and need to know how to do this and navigate in a Linux environment. They need to think beyond the minimum so that if they have a better way to run these queries they are not afraid to contribute an idea. So if they can run SQL scripts against a Linux server and work in a very transactional environment, this is the person they are looking for. Oshkosh truck manufactures vehicles for the US Army. Most of the queries are about truck parts and warranties and things of this nature.
