Job Description:
Must Have:
• B.S. in Computer Science, EE, or related field
• 5 to 7 Years of experience in developing security solutions or a Sr. member of a Security Operation Center
• Understanding and knowledge of IPS/IDS best practices
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper security appliances
• Knowledge of Proxy operation – management and troubleshooting
• Certification in Security at the Professional
• Self-starter, motivated, with good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written skills to document security solution design
• Excellent skills in developing Layered Visio Diagrams (High & Low level designs)
• Understanding of scalable solution requirements
• Ability to develop, assess, and implement new concepts in the network
• Good understanding of redundant (High Availability) design methodologies
Skills:
• Ability to analyze systems from a security standpoint, devising security protocols and mechanisms.
• Expertise in web application attack and defense.
• Expertise in TLS, proper use of cryptography, and security standards.
• Strong familiarity with issues in network security engineering (firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, routing/switching).
• Expertise in secure software subsystems (single sign-on, directory services, clients/terminals, application frameworks, libraries).
• Expertise in security design principles and best practices.
• Working knowledge of compliance standards and process, including PCI and SOX.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Preferred to Have:
• Certified as Expert Level in Security
• M.Sc. in related field of studies
• Experience in related industries – Entertainment, Broadcasting, Streaming, i.e.
• Combined routing & switching and security experience (excellent knowledge of routing protocols)
• Experience with Service Provider environment and solution design for multi-tenant environment.
