PHP Developer / Software Engineer

MUST HAVES:
6+ years of object-oriented PHP web development experience
3+ years of maintaining and enhancing Java Script
1+ years of working with a web application that uses Akamai
1+ years of working with a web application that uses Varnish
1+ years of working with GitHub
2+ years of exposure to the full SDLC, including requirements, architecture, development, testing, production release, and support
2+ years working in a team-based enterprise environment that has separate Dev, QA, and Operations teams
Proven track record of quickly understanding and adopting existing team processes
Proven track record of having a positive, can-do attitude
Proven track record of clear written and verbal communications
Responsibilities:
Maintain and modify code and/or config files for our PHP-based system that generates the XML "pages" for our Apple TV application. (This system is already in production.)
Partner with other team members, including product manager, QA lead, and scrum master on a day-to-day basis to deliver on tasks and user stories.
Learn and adopt our software development processes.
Effectively leverage the knowledge of the software engineers who wrote the original code in order to avoid reinventing the wheel.
After consulting with original software engineers, perform any necessary code cleanup and refactoring.
