Job Title: PeopleSoft AR Functional

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

NOTE:: Candidate must be have more functional Knowledge

Job Description:

·         Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Business or Accounting with a minimum of 10 years of experience using PeopleSoft with a focus on at least three of the following: GL, AP, AR, BI, Travel and Expenses and Project Costing modules

·         Good documentation/written skills covering both functional and technical documents

·         Good problem analysis/resolution skills

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact confidently with individuals at all levels; must be dedicated to a high degree of customer service with the ability to work well in a team environment

·         Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and perform well under extreme time constraints

·         Ability to effectively express functional concepts to non-functional personnel

·         Ability to multi-task effectively

·         Comfortable with writing database queries

·         Familiarity with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle

·         Gathering, translating and documenting functional specifications and design requirements

·         Experience using MS Office tools such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

·         Knowledge with tax software (e.g. Sabrix or Vertex) is preferred 
 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Assist in supporting day to day activities of PeopleSoft Financials user base

·         Design and implement major/minor system enhancements in support of business functions

·         Elicit end user business requirements and accurately translate/ incorporate into base system design documentation

·         Assists in communicating major/minor enhancements, bug-fixes and coordinating with other support personnel to ensure seamless rollout of new functionality to internal customers

·         Provide first and second level functional support for internal customers to meet pre-defined application SLAs

·         Collaborate with and apprise relevant IS peers of critical project and end-user issues, and status of ongoing projects, and work effectively towards department and corporate goals

·         Perform other related duties as required
