Role: Big Senior Support Data Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Term: 6months plus extention

As a Data Engineer you will:
• Design and develop code, scripts, and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data integrated from multiple sources
• Support code developed by Engineering or Development teams
• Handle multiple projects and small teams of junior consultants
• Participate in planning and prioritization meeting with clients
• Define work packages for remote team and review code
• Leverage data domain and architecture knowledge to assist users with their analytics needs
• Work with client support teams to assist critical support issues requiring application SME
Qualifications
Do you have amazing engineering skills such as:
• Experience programming in Java
• Support experience in Big Data or data warehousing environments
• Experience with Unix
• Familiarity with other programming languages (Python, C, C++, etc.)
• Background which includes mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and data mining
• Experience building complex and non-interactive systems (batch, distributed, etc.)
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, relational database design and methods
• Prior work/research experience with unstructured data and data modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
