Job Description :
At least 9-10 years of experience in Web UI development using:
HTML
CSS
ability to write & understand pure JavaScript without jQuery or other libraries
Nice-to-haves, but not required:
Polymer experience (most people don't have this, but if they're strong in HTML, CSS & pure JS they should be able to pick it up)
Front-end Websocket experience (again, not too common, if they're strong in pure JS they should be able to pick it up)
Experience interacting with Hypermedia APIs (this is more specific than REST, and again, most haven't done this but pure JS devs should be able to pick it up, especially since we have internal libraries here that handle it, but an understanding of Hypermedia is nice)
OAuth experience
Ruby (the vast majority of the code being written will be HTML, CSS & JS with Polymer, but our websites are built on Rails, so an understanding of Ruby, JRuby and/or Rails is nice, but not required).
