Technical/Functional Skills

·         The Informatica Powercenter Programmer/Analyst designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates application programs for functional business areas

·         Application development includes development/customization of interfaces, conversions, and enhancements. Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, logical database design, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.

·         Development and documentation of deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis as defined in the IT Methodology, in collaboration with business analyst and other project team members.

·         Coordination with stakeholders and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs.

·         Modify and configure applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document. Prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards and processes. Anticipate client concerns and questions and provide timely, professional, straight forward (non-technical) communications.

·         Supports may include bug fixes, patches, minor enhancements, and service request

·         Solid written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience in Utility Domain

·         Experience in developing and deploying Java, Perl, XSLT solutions and mastering in PL/SQL.

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Support technical design, development and unit test of ETL programs using Informatica Power Center 8.6.1 or higher in Red Hat Linux and Oracle 11g environment. 

·         Develop and manage new workflow processes.

·         Coordinate the data cleansing and data migration capabilities in support of the MDM initiative.

·         Support stabilization of Informatica delivery projects.   This includes OnCall support.

·         Support migration process of Informatica code and patches.

·         Schedule batch jobs using Informatica job scheduling or UC4 Job Scheduling

·         UNIX and Shell Scripting.

·         Informatica repository trouble shooting, creation, Backup and Restore.

·         Support the creation of Domains, Repositories, installs, configuration, maintaining connections, monitoring and managing systems performance

·         Responsible for Data Warehouse and data mart

·         Responsible for Domain setup

·         Managing Repository and Powerhouse servers and Partitioning sessions too

·         Batches execution management

·         Managing Mapping integrity and aggregator Cache file and lookup transformation
