Title: Facets Analyst  

Location: New Jersey

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire position

Client: United Healthcare

This position is in the Automated Resolution Utilities (ARU) IT application development team on the CSP FACETS claim platform. This team automates claim processing and adjudication activities on FACETS in order to increase auto adjudication and cost savings and improve quality.

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

We are looking for an experienced system analyst with FACETS experience and knowledge of claim processing. This person needs to work with business to understand their claim flows/process and translate into detailed system specifications for developers to code from. They also need to perform testing to validate functionality is working as expected prior to UAT. They should be familiar with the front end screens/navigation and back end data model of FACETS.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications

• Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure requirements and design are completely understood

• Communicate design to all stakeholders at varying levels of the organization

• Act as the liaison between Business and IT (developers and business analysts)

• Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution

• Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives

• Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results

• Develop test conditions and validate test results

• Collaborate with Developers to ensure testing efforts align with project needs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis

• 5+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification

• 5+ years of experience mapping data from database to user interface/batch extract/web services

• 5+ years of Relational Database experience

• FACETS experience

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio

• Ability to work on multiple projects in various phases of the SDLC

• Ability to react quickly to shifting priorities

• Be customer focused and function well in a collaborative team environment

• Good communication skills (spoken and written) are required

• Good analytical reasoning skills and attention to detail

• Ability to quickly go through the learning curve in new areas

• Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• UnitedHealth Group work experience

• Health care experience in the claims area

• Proficiency with PowerPoint

• Experience working with test plans and test cases

• Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology
