About Position: Seeking experienced project managers with extensive experience in business analysis.

The candidate should have played an active role in managing complex projects and driving complex analysis in a high volume data warehouse environment.

Working with IT and functional groups such as Sales, Finance, CRM, Retail, the business analyst will serve as a conduit and will be responsible for managing the requirements, stakeholder management and project.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management

• Stakeholder management

• Work with users to understand their needs and articulate that through requirement and functional specifications, and through playback sessions

• Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

• Perform data analysis pertinent to the business problem and develop knowledge of a specific business domain over time, and become a SME

• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests

• Collaborate with Business, PM, and Technology team to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

• Serves as the conduit between the users and the development team

• Attend design reviews conducted by technical team and ensure that business requirements are being met

• Perform QA to ensure the solutions are tested properly and signed off by key users

• Develop and maintain project documentation including requirements, functional specifications, test plans, presentations, user documentations and training materials

Mandatory Skills:

            • Minimum seven years of experience performing PM role with strong background in business analysis and technology

• Experience in working directly with Business stakeholders as representative of IT team

• Analytical with ability understand and interpret the business data

• Strong oral and written communication including ability to create Keynote/PowerPoint presentations and good in negotiation

• Hands on SQL querying knowledge is must

• Team player (very important) and be able to work independently with little supervision.

• Data warehouse tools and technology such as Business Objects, Oracle and Teradata

• Experience in working with onsite-offshore teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in one or more of Sales, Finance, Retail and CRM domains

Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering with relevant industry experience
