Role – OEM System Admin (Oracle Enterprise Manager)

Location – Bethpage, NY

1. Management of SPARC Solaris virtual environment using Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center 12c. o Must be able to understand the existing network and storage setup and be able to determine gaps or risks and remediate them o Install /configure/patch OEM Ops Center EC, PC and AC. Must be able to determine existing gaps or risks in the current Ops Center setup and remediate them. o Install/configure/patch CDOM servers o Upgrade firmware of SPARC servers o Change user replaceable SPARC hardware components such as RAM. o Create/configure/manage standalone LDOMS o Configure server pool/vDC storage and networks o Create discovery/provisioning/operational profiles for Solaris guests o Configure monitor policies o Create/manage OEM Ops Center report templates o Leverage OEM Ops Center to automate Solaris administrative work such as patching. o ILOM Management 2. Solaris Administration o Administration of CDOMs o Create/destroy/clone LDOMs o Install and patch Solaris 10 & 11 o Restore Solaris snapshots from Oracle ZFS storage appliance o Extensive experience in different backup and restore procedures in Solaris 10 & 11. Set up, document and test backup and restore procedure
